Warranties

General Warranty

Niuvisions warrants its glasses against manufacturer’s defects to the original purchaser for the period specified for frames and lenses. At our sole discretion, we will either repair or replace defective items that meet warranty criteria. This warranty applies only to the original owner and requires proof of purchase from an official invoice. This warranty does not cover issues caused by normal wear and tear or accidental damage such as loss, theft, dropping, crushing, sitting on glasses, chewing by pets, or any other misuse during regular use.

A processing fee of $15.00 is required for each approved warranty claim, payable by credit card only. All claims must be submitted to customer service at info@niuvisions.com along with your full name, address, email, phone number, reason for the claim, and valid proof of purchase. You may also reach us directly at (305) 498-5382 if you need help submitting your claim.

If a claimed product is no longer available, Niuvisions reserves the right to replace it with a similar style and fit at its discretion.

Warranty Notes

Warranty coverage is strictly limited to manufacturer defects as determined by Niuvisions. Any damage resulting from improper handling, misuse, or external factors will not be eligible for warranty consideration. Scratched lenses caused by accident or mishandling are not covered, though replacement lenses can be purchased separately. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to US residents.

Warranty on Frames

Frames are covered for manufacturer defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase, provided they are used under proper care guidelines. Proper usage includes maintaining hygiene standards during handling, using appropriate cleaning solutions, avoiding exposure to extreme heat or poorly ventilated storage conditions, and ensuring frames are not exposed to chemicals such as solvents, corrosives, paint, or abrasive substances. Frames must not be bent, stretched, dropped, crushed, or subjected to excessive pressure or heavy weight. They should always be worn and removed using both hands to avoid uneven stress, and stored safely in a protective case when not in use. 

Warranty on Lenses

Lens-related warranty claims must be submitted within specific timeframes depending on the issue. Prescription issues must be reported within 30 days of purchase. Anti-reflective coating issues must be reported within 90 days. Premature lens scratching under normal wear conditions may also be reviewed within 90 days, subject to evaluation and approval by Niuvisions. Prescription Warranty

Prescription lenses are guaranteed to be manufactured according to the optometrist’s written prescription specifications. However, Niuvisions is not responsible for incorrect prescriptions provided by the customer or optometrist.

If a prescription changes within 30 days of the eye exam, replacement lenses may be provided for the same frame and style at 50% of the new lens cost. In cases where a customer is unable to adapt to progressive lenses within 30 days, Niuvisions may replace them with non-progressive lenses for the same frame.

Any warranty claim related to prescription lenses beyond 30 days from purchase is not covered unless explicitly stated otherwise under applicable warranty terms.
